Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Farmingdale, New Jersey, A&E Medical was acquired by Zimmer Biomet in December 2020. Its products expanded Zimmer Biomet’s presence in the sternal closure market and are positioned as commercial, procedure-oriented surgical devices rather than a drug-development pipeline.
