Alvogen Pine Brook LLC (commonly known as Alvogen Pine Brook R&D) is the primary U.S.-based research and development subsidiary of Alvogen. Established in 2010 in Pine Brook, New Jersey, the facility focuses on the formulation, analytical development, and regulatory filing of complex generic and first-to-file pharmaceutical products, including controlled-release formulations. The company has successfully developed and filed numerous Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) for high-value generic equivalents, such as oseltamivir phosphate (Tamiflu), buprenorphine/naloxone sublingual film (Suboxone), and ibrutinib (Imbruvica). Alvogen Pine Brook works in close coordination with Alvogen's commercial manufacturing site, Norwich Pharmaceuticals, to bring these affordable therapies to the U.S. market.
