Overview
SD‑809 (deutetrabenazine), a VMAT2 inhibitor developed using deuterium chemistry, showed promise in pivotal Phase 2/3 trials for tardive dyskinesia and Huntington's chorea with improved safety and dosing profile compared to existing therapies.
