Avionord M&P

Avionord M&P was the machine and perfusion business carved out of Avionord S.r.l. in Italy and operated as XVIVO's Italian distributor focused on organ preservation and machine perfusion for transplantation. Its business combined sales of perfusion machines and disposables with education, perfusion services, and logistics support, including a CE-marked organ transport storage device called GISTO. The business generated most of its revenue from XVIVO perfusion systems and served transplant customers in the Italian market. XVIVO announced the acquisition in August 2022 and completed it in late 2022, after which the new legal entity became XVIVO S.r.l. As a result, Avionord M&P should be viewed as an acquired commercial medtech/services business rather than an independent biotech drug developer.
