B&A Therapeutics conducted a Phase 2 clinical trial (NCT03899324) to assess the efficacy and safety of Bumetanide in Parkinson's Disease. The trial was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled multicenter proof-of-concept study involving 40 Parkinson's Disease patients divided into two groups: 20 receiving Bumetanide and 20 receiving placebo for 4 months. The trial started on April 26, 2019, but its current status is unknown.[2]
