Botswana-Baylor Children's Clinical Centre of Excellence

The Botswana-Baylor Children's Clinical Centre of Excellence (BBCCCE) is a premier healthcare and research institution located in Gaborone, Botswana. It operates as a public-private partnership between the Government of Botswana and the Baylor College of Medicine International Pediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI). The center is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive care and treatment for children and adolescents living with HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and pediatric hematology-oncology conditions. BBCCCE serves as a critical hub for clinical research, participating in international trials that inform pediatric treatment guidelines globally. In addition to clinical services, the organization provides extensive training and capacity-building for healthcare professionals throughout the Southern African region. The center's mission is supported by key partners including Texas Children's Hospital and the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation.
