Center for Advanced Research & Education

Center for Advanced Research & Education (CARE) is a Gainesville, Georgia-based multi-therapeutic clinical research organization focused on conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials. Founded in 1998 by Drs. Chris and Julie Recknor, the site has completed more than 150 clinical studies and developed therapeutic expertise spanning metabolic, cardiovascular, neuroscience, and musculoskeletal disorders. In May 2025, CARE was acquired by Flourish Research and now operates as Flourish Research's Gainesville site. The organization appears to function primarily as a clinical trial site and research services provider rather than a drug-developing biotech or pharmaceutical company. Its business centers on patient recruitment, trial execution, investigator services, and disease education for sponsor-led studies.
