Overview
CVVT has established itself as a leading translational research center focused on infectious disease control through the development of rapid diagnostics, broad-spectrum antivirals, novel vaccines—including a nasal spray H5N1 avian flu vaccine—and enabling technology platforms. The center has demonstrated success in culturing previously uncultivable human rhinovirus C using innovative organoid models and is actively advancing multiple programs toward clinical application.
