Founded in 2003, the organization provides a comprehensive, turn-key solution for charities to accept donations of cars, trucks, boats, and other vehicles to fund their missions. CARS handles the entire process, including towing, title transfer, and auctioning, while returning a high percentage of the proceeds to the partner charities. Their partners include major media outlets like NPR and PBS, as well as numerous health-related foundations and social service agencies. Additionally, CARS operates 'On the Go,' a program specifically designed to provide transportation solutions and mobility for seniors.
