Children's Hospital New Orleans is a private, not-for-profit pediatric medical center and the first and largest full-service hospital exclusively for children in Louisiana and the Gulf South. Founded in 1955, it operates a freestanding children's hospital in Uptown New Orleans together with a broader network of satellite clinics, pediatric primary care sites, emergency services, rehabilitation, behavioral health, and specialty programs across Louisiana and nearby regions. The organization provides comprehensive pediatric care spanning cancer and blood disorders, critical care, heart and vascular care, neurosciences, orthopedics, dialysis and renal care, rehabilitation, trauma, transplant surgery, and primary care. It is part of the LCMC Health system and maintains academic affiliations with LSU Health New Orleans and Tulane University School of Medicine. In 2025, the hospital began operating under the new name Manning Family Children's following a transformational partnership with the Manning family.
