CLARE|MATRIX

CLARE|MATRIX is a non-profit behavioral health organization formed in 2018 through the merger of the CLARE Foundation and the Matrix Institute on Addictions. Based in Santa Monica, California, the organization provides a comprehensive continuum of care for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their services include detoxification, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient programs, as well as specialized care for veterans and pregnant women. CLARE|MATRIX is globally recognized for the Matrix Model®, an evidence-based manualized treatment protocol for stimulant use disorders that has been adopted worldwide. In addition to clinical services, the organization serves as a research site for clinical trials, collaborating with academic institutions like UCLA and government agencies such as NIDA to evaluate new pharmacotherapies. Through its training institute, CLARE|MATRIX also provides education and certification for behavioral health professionals in evidence-based practices.
