Founded in 1981, the company specialized in software solutions designed to manage the complex operational data associated with large-scale clinical trials, including site monitoring, investigator payments, and regulatory documentation. CCM's technology provided real-time visibility into trial progress, helping sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) streamline drug development timelines. In 2004, the company was acquired by Parexel International for approximately $25 million and integrated into its Perceptive Informatics division.
