Overview

Daehwa Pharmaceutical developed the world’s first approved oral formulation of paclitaxel (Liporaxel®, RMX3001/DHP107) using its proprietary lipid-based self-emulsifying technology. This product has been approved by regulatory authorities in South Korea since September 2016 and by China's NMPA as of September 2024 for second-line treatment of advanced/metastatic or recurrent gastric cancers. Clinical results from multicenter Phase III studies have confirmed efficacy comparable to intravenous formulations with improved convenience and safety profile. The company has a broad portfolio with over 340 products approved by MFDS and about 150 currently produced.[3][6][7][9]
