Founded by Dr. Moon-Hyeong Seo, the company utilizes its proprietary AbClick platform, a site-specific conjugation technology that allows for the precise attachment of payloads to native antibodies without the need for genetic engineering. This technology aims to improve the stability, homogeneity, and therapeutic index of ADC candidates while simplifying the manufacturing process. The company's lead program, AT-211, is a Claudin 18.2-targeted ADC currently in pre-clinical development for gastric and pancreatic cancers. In December 2023, AbTis was acquired by Dong-A ST to serve as a core pillar of its oncology R&D strategy.
