Ele's Place

Ele's Place is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to supporting grieving children, teens, and their families. Founded in 1991, the organization provides peer-to-peer support groups and clinical consultations at no cost to families. With branches across Michigan, including Ann Arbor, Lansing, Flint, and Grand Rapids, Ele's Place creates a safe environment for youth to process the death of a parent, sibling, or other close family member. Their programs utilize art, music, and play to help children express emotions and develop healthy coping skills. The organization also partners with schools to provide off-site support through 'Ele's Group' programs, ensuring that no child in Michigan has to grieve alone.
