Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO) is a massive Iranian parastatal conglomerate that operates under the direct supervision of the Supreme Leader of Iran. Its healthcare activities are primarily conducted through the Barkat Pharmaceutical Group, which is one of the largest pharmaceutical holding companies in the Middle East, controlling approximately 15% of Iran's essential drug market. EIKO gained international prominence for developing COVIran Barekat, Iran's first domestically produced COVID-19 vaccine, through its subsidiary Shifa Pharmed.
