FELRA & UFCW Health and Welfare Fund

The FELRA & UFCW Health and Welfare Fund is a multi-employer trust fund that provides comprehensive health and welfare benefits to eligible union members and their dependents. The fund serves employees in the retail food industry across the Mid-Atlantic region, specifically those represented by the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) and employed by members of the Food and Employers Labor Relations Association (FELRA). Its services include the administration of medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, as well as disability and death benefits. Governed by a joint board of trustees from both labor and management, the fund ensures the delivery of negotiated benefits under the Taft-Hartley Act.
