Formosa Pharmaceuticals’ lead product APP13007 (clobetasol propionate ophthalmic nanosuspension) received FDA approval in 2024 for post-operative inflammation and pain following ocular surgery. Two Phase 3 trials showed rapid and sustained clearance of inflammation and pain relief superior to placebo. The company has shipped its first commercial batch to the US via partner Eyenovia. Other pipeline assets include a Kadcyla biosimilar for HER2-positive breast cancer in clinical development and additional programs targeting infectious eye diseases and oncology indications.
