Gilda's Club

Gilda's Club is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing social and emotional support for individuals living with cancer, as well as their families and friends. Founded in memory of comedian Gilda Radner, the organization offers a comprehensive program of support groups, educational workshops, and social activities at no cost to its members. In 2009, Gilda's Club Worldwide merged with The Wellness Community to form the Cancer Support Community (CSC), creating the largest professionally led nonprofit network of cancer support worldwide. The organization operates through a network of local affiliates that provide a physical 'clubhouse' environment designed to foster community and reduce isolation. Their services complement conventional medical treatment by addressing the psychosocial needs of patients and survivors.
