HDM Diagnostics & Imaging Inc. was a Canadian biotechnology company based in Toronto, Ontario, that specialized in the development and commercialization of proprietary antibodies and assays for arthritis research and diagnostics. The company was particularly recognized for its specialized antibodies targeting collagen degradation markers, such as cleaved type II collagen (COL2-3/4C) and type X collagen, which are used to monitor cartilage turnover in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. In 2001, HDM Diagnostics & Imaging was acquired by IBEX Technologies Inc., a Montreal-based biotech firm, to expand its portfolio of arthritis-related diagnostic products. Following the acquisition, HDM's technologies and products were integrated into IBEX's arthritis research and diagnostic offerings.
