HealthSouth Doctors' Hospital was a specialized medical facility located in Coral Gables, Florida, primarily focused on orthopedics and sports medicine. As a subsidiary of HealthSouth Corporation, it became one of the most recognized sports medicine centers in the United States, serving as the official provider for the Miami Heat and Florida Panthers. The hospital offered a comprehensive suite of services including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, and advanced surgical procedures. In 2003, following a period of corporate restructuring at its parent company, the facility was sold to Baptist Health South Florida for $195 million. Since the acquisition, the hospital has operated simply as Doctors' Hospital within the Baptist Health network, continuing its legacy as a premier center for orthopedic surgery and physical rehabilitation.
