Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is an international non-governmental organization specializing in the field of disability and rehabilitation services. Founded in 1982 as Handicap International, the organization provides essential healthcare interventions, including physical therapy, the provision of prosthetics and orthotics, and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS). HI is a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for its leadership in the International Campaign to Ban Landmines and operates in over 60 countries. The organization focuses on improving the lives of people with disabilities in conflict zones, disaster areas, and impoverished communities through technical healthcare expertise and advocacy. Their work includes the development of innovative rehabilitation technologies, such as 3D-printed prosthetics, to increase accessibility in low-resource settings.
