IT&E International Group was a clinical research organization (CRO) and technology provider that specialized in electronic data capture (EDC) and clinical trial management systems. Based in San Diego, the company offered a suite of software tools designed to automate the collection, management, and reporting of clinical trial data for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Their services aimed to reduce the time and cost associated with traditional paper-based clinical trials by providing real-time data access and validation. In February 2001, IT&E International was acquired by DataTrak International, a leader in eClinical technology, in a transaction valued at approximately $10 million.
