Company intelligence / Profile preview
Jesup & Lamont Securities was a historic New York-based brokerage and investment banking firm originally founded in 1877. While the firm provided research and investment banking services to various sectors including healthcare and life sciences, it was primarily a financial services provider rather than a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company. The firm was a long-standing member of the New York Stock Exchange and offered retail brokerage, institutional sales, and corporate finance services. Following severe capital deficiencies and regulatory challenges, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) expelled the firm from the industry in 2010. Consequently, the company ceased all operations and is no longer active in the financial or healthcare markets.
