Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare

Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare was a prominent regional healthcare system based in Louisville, Kentucky. The organization was formed in 2005 through the merger of Jewish Hospital HealthCare Services and St. Mary's HealthCare. It operated several facilities, including the flagship Jewish Hospital, which is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in hand surgery and organ transplantation. In 2012, the system became part of KentuckyOne Health, a joint venture with Catholic Health Initiatives. In 2019, the University of Louisville (UofL Health) acquired the system's assets to preserve its critical role in the region's medical infrastructure and academic mission.
