Kennedy Covington Lobdell & Hickman was a prominent American law firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Established in 1957, the firm grew to become one of the largest legal practices in the Southeast United States, specializing in corporate law, litigation, and regulatory matters. While the firm maintained a significant healthcare and life sciences practice group, it operated as a professional services provider rather than a biotechnology or pharmaceutical developer. In July 2008, the firm merged with the global law firm K&L Gates, significantly expanding its reach and integrating its regional expertise into a global platform.
