Kenneth Leventhal & Company was a leading American accounting and consulting firm that specialized in the real estate industry. Founded in 1949, the firm became the ninth-largest accounting firm in the United States and was widely recognized for its expertise in real estate workouts, restructuring, and financing. In 1995, the company merged with Ernst & Young (now EY) to form the E&Y Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group. The firm did not operate in the life sciences or biotechnology sectors, focusing instead on financial services and real estate consulting. Its founder, Kenneth Leventhal, was a major benefactor to the University of Southern California, where the accounting school bears his name.
