Company intelligence / Profile preview
Kerastem’s lead program is an autologous cell-enriched fat grafting procedure for early-stage hair loss. In a Phase II trial (“STYLE”), the therapy showed statistically significant increases in terminal hair counts at 24 weeks versus control. The process involves harvesting a small volume of fat via liposuction, isolating regenerative cells using Celution/Dermapose systems, and injecting enriched adipose tissue into the scalp. The treatment is not FDA-approved or available in the US but has CE mark approval and commercial use in Europe and Japan.
