King's Daughters Health System

King's Daughters Health System is a U.S. regional, not-for-profit health system centered in Ashland, Kentucky, providing hospital-based and outpatient healthcare services across northeastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. Its flagship hospital is UK King's Daughters Medical Center, a 455-bed facility offering intensive, intermediate, and acute care across cardiovascular, orthopedics, oncology, digestive health, stroke and neurology, maternity, and neonatal services. The organization operates a broad network of primary care, specialty care, imaging, and outpatient sites rather than a traditional drug-development pipeline. King's Daughters became part of the University of Kentucky in December 2022 and now operates as UK King's Daughters while remaining locally managed. The system also supports graduate medical education and community health programs in the tri-state region.
