Company intelligence / Profile preview
Lixte’s lead compound LB-100, a first-in-class PP2A inhibitor, has demonstrated synergy with both chemotherapy and immunotherapy in preclinical models and early clinical trials. It has shown to be well-tolerated at doses associated with anti-cancer activity. Multiple ongoing Phase I/II studies are evaluating its efficacy in combination regimens for solid tumors such as ovarian clear cell carcinoma, metastatic colon cancer, and advanced soft tissue sarcoma. Early results suggest enhanced treatment outcomes by promoting neoantigen production and T-cell proliferation while disrupting DNA repair in cancer cells
