Company intelligence / Profile preview
Lucky's Market was an American grocery store chain that specialized in natural and organic foods, founded in 2003 by Bo and Libby Sharon. The company was headquartered in Niwot, Colorado, and grew to operate over 40 stores across 10 states, emphasizing high-quality produce and a unique shopping experience. In 2016, Kroger formed a strategic partnership with the company to accelerate its growth, but Kroger announced its divestment in late 2019. This led to a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in early 2020, resulting in the closure of most locations and the sale of remaining assets to various regional competitors. Today, only a small number of stores continue to operate under the Lucky's Market name through independent ownership. The company is not a biotechnology or pharmaceutical entity and does not have a drug development pipeline.
