Meds & Food For Kids

Meds & Food For Kids (MFK) is a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to fighting malnutrition in Haiti through the local production and distribution of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF). Founded by Dr. Patricia Wolff, the organization operates a state-of-the-art factory in Cap-Haïtien that produces Medika Mamba, a peanut-based paste used to treat severe acute malnutrition in children. MFK also produces supplementary foods for pregnant women and school-aged children, while supporting local agriculture by sourcing peanuts from Haitian farmers. Their model combines humanitarian aid with economic development to create a sustainable solution for food insecurity and public health. The organization is a member of the Nutriset PlumpyField network and partners with major international agencies like UNICEF and the World Food Programme.
