Men's Health Initiative

Men's Health Initiative, Inc. (MHI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Orlando, Florida, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of men and boys through research, education, and advocacy. Founded in 2015 by Dr. Michael J. Rovito, the organization focuses on addressing health disparities, promoting preventative care, and increasing awareness of male-specific health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer. MHI conducts behavioral health research, develops educational resources like the 'Men's Health Checklist,' and collaborates with academic and community partners to implement evidence-based health promotion programs. The initiative aims to empower men to take a proactive role in their health and to improve access to quality healthcare services, particularly in underserved communities.
