Mission Cancer + Blood

Mission Cancer + Blood is an Iowa-based community oncology and hematology practice network that provides outpatient cancer and blood-disorder care through more than 20 clinics across the state. Its services include medical oncology, hematology, chemotherapy infusion, on-site laboratory services, genetic counseling, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and access to clinical trials. Founded in 1981, the organization built a large rural and community-focused footprint in Iowa and became part of University of Iowa Health Care following an asset purchase completed on December 31, 2024. Mission now operates as a care-delivery brand within UI Health Care’s statewide cancer network rather than as an independent drug-development biotech or pharma company.
