Molecular and Cellular Therapeutics (MCT) is a full-service cGMP manufacturing facility located at the University of Minnesota that operates as a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO). The facility specializes in the production of advanced cellular and gene therapy products, including CAR-T cells, mesenchymal stem cells, and microbiota-based therapeutics. MCT provides comprehensive services ranging from process development and validation to clinical-grade manufacturing for Phase I through Phase III clinical trials. It is notably involved in the Production Assistance for Cellular Therapies (PACT) program and supports both academic researchers and commercial biotechnology companies in translating bench-side discoveries into clinical applications.
