Northeast Laser & Electropolish

Northeast Laser & Electropolish was a U.S.-based precision manufacturing company serving medical device OEMs and other industrial customers with laser processing, machining, electropolishing, and passivation services. The company specialized in contract laser marking, laser welding, laser cutting, Swiss machining, and metal finishing for medical assemblies, surgical components, and interventional device parts. In August 2019, Biomerics merged with Northeast Laser & Electropolish and formed the Biomerics NLE metals division, integrating the business into Biomerics' broader medical device contract manufacturing platform. As a result, the legacy company no longer appears to operate as an independent standalone business, but its Monroe, Connecticut capabilities continue within Biomerics' micro-metals processing operations.
