Orscheln Farm & Home is a retail chain specializing in agricultural supplies, livestock feed, and rural lifestyle products, primarily serving the Midwestern United States. Founded in 1960 and headquartered in Moberly, Missouri, the company operated over 150 stores before its acquisition. Its product offerings include a significant selection of animal health supplies, such as vaccines, dewormers, and supplements for livestock and pets, alongside hardware, tools, and workwear. In October 2022, the company was acquired by Tractor Supply Company for approximately $320 million. To satisfy regulatory requirements, many of its locations were divested to other retailers like Bomgaars and Buchheit. While the company is a major distributor of veterinary products, it does not participate in life sciences research or drug development.
