Predictive Physiology & Medicine (PPM) was a biotechnology company based in Bloomington, Indiana, that specialized in personalized medicine and systems biology. Founded in 2005 by Dr. Stephen Naylor, the company developed advanced diagnostic tools designed to provide predictive summaries of an individual's health. PPM utilized a proprietary proteomics platform, including liquid chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry-mass spectrometry (LC-IMS-MS), to identify early biomarkers of disease in blood samples. The company's mission was to shift the medical paradigm from reactive treatment to proactive prevention by enabling early intervention. While active in the late 2000s and a recipient of significant federal research grants, the company is no longer operational.
