Quesper R&D is a Spanish biotechnology company specializing in advanced wound care and regenerative medicine. The company developed the EHO-85 platform, a multifunctional amorphous hydrogel containing Olea europaea leaf extract, which is designed to optimize the wound microenvironment by regulating pH, providing antioxidant protection, and maintaining hydration. This technology has been successfully validated in clinical trials for the treatment of chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and venous leg ulcers. In 2021, Quesper R&D divested its lead commercial products, Ulkox and Oleoabrax, to Noventure (a Ferrer company) for global distribution. The company maintains strong research ties with the University of Cordoba and the Maimonides Biomedical Research Institute of Cordoba (IMIBIC) to further explore botanical-based therapeutic applications. Its research portfolio also includes investigations into the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of natural extracts for dermatological and oncological applications.
