Overview
RegeneRx’s lead candidate RGN-259 has completed multiple Phase III trials for dry eye disease and neurotrophic keratitis. While some trials did not meet all primary endpoints for DED, statistically significant improvements were observed in symptoms. For NK—a rare orphan indication—RGN-259 demonstrated efficacy in a small initial Phase III trial with ongoing pivotal studies underway in the US and Europe. Other programs are at various clinical stages targeting wound healing and cardiovascular/neurological indications.
