Company intelligence / Profile preview
Saint Joseph's Research Institute (SJRI), later known as the St. Joseph's Translational Research Institute (SJTRI), was a premier non-profit research organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in cardiovascular and regenerative medicine. The institute served as a critical bridge between laboratory discovery and clinical application, providing high-level preclinical and clinical research services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. SJTRI was particularly noted for its expertise in interventional cardiology, cell-based therapies, and the evaluation of novel cardiovascular devices such as drug-eluting stents. In 2012, the institute's operations were integrated into Emory Healthcare following a joint venture between Saint Joseph’s Health System and Emory, where it continues to contribute to translational medicine under the Emory St. Joseph's Hospital umbrella.
