Saint Luke's Hospital

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is a premier non-profit academic medical center and the flagship facility of Saint Luke's Health System. It is internationally recognized for its specialized centers of excellence, most notably the Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute and the Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute. The hospital serves as a major hub for clinical research and innovation, participating in hundreds of global clinical trials across cardiovascular medicine, oncology, and neurology. In January 2024, Saint Luke's Health System completed a merger with BJC HealthCare to form BJC Health System, creating one of the largest integrated non-profit health delivery networks in the United States. The institution remains a primary teaching affiliate for the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine.
