Saint Vincent's Cancer Center

Saint Vincent's Comprehensive Cancer Center (SVCCC) was a prominent outpatient cancer treatment and research facility located in New York City. Established as a joint venture between St. Vincent's Hospital and Salick Health Care (later acquired by AstraZeneca), the center was a pioneer in the "comprehensive" care model, integrating medical, surgical, and radiation oncology with supportive services. It was a major site for clinical trials and research, particularly in breast cancer, hematologic malignancies, and radiation oncology. The center closed in 2010 following the bankruptcy and closure of the St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Centers system.
