San Jorge Children's Foundation

Fundación de Niños de Puerto Rico, formerly known as San Jorge Children's Foundation, is a non-profit organization based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, dedicated to providing financial assistance for medical treatments to children from low-income families. Founded in 1995, the foundation covers costs for surgeries, medications, and specialized care for pediatric patients diagnosed with cancer, physical malformations, or chronic health conditions. It operates as an independent entity but maintains strong alliances with several hospitals, including San Jorge Children's Hospital and Puerto Rico Children's Hospital. The organization also offers emotional support through psychological therapies and educational programs for hospitalized children. As a member of the Children's Miracle Network, it collaborates with various corporate partners to fund its mission of ensuring no child in Puerto Rico is left without advanced medical treatment due to economic constraints.
