Science & Technology International (STI) was a research and development company that specialized in advanced imaging and sensing technologies, with a significant focus on medical diagnostics. The company developed a proprietary hyperspectral imaging platform designed to improve the early detection of various cancers, most notably cervical and skin cancers. Its flagship medical product, the Spectra system, utilized automated multi-spectral imaging to provide real-time, non-invasive diagnostic information. STI's medical division, often referred to as STI Medical Systems, was a pioneer in applying defense-grade remote sensing technology to clinical healthcare challenges.
