St. Vincent's P.E.T. Center

St. Vincent's P.E.T. Center, LLC is a specialized diagnostic imaging facility based in Birmingham, Alabama, providing advanced Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computed Tomography (CT) services. Established in 2004 as a joint venture between St. Vincent's Health System and Med-South, Inc., the center focuses on oncology, neurology, and bone imaging to assist in the diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning of various conditions. Following the 2024 acquisition of St. Vincent's Health System by the UAB Health System Authority, the center now operates as part of the UAB St. Vincent's network. It utilizes state-of-the-art PET/CT technology and radiopharmaceuticals to provide high-resolution metabolic imaging for patients across central Alabama. The facility is recognized as an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) and maintains multiple locations, including the Bruno Cancer Center.
