Steiner & Co. (Steiner Arzneimittel) is a Berlin-based pharmaceutical company that specialized in the development and production of phytopharmaceuticals and cephalosporin antibiotics. Founded in 1945, the company established itself as a prominent manufacturer of herbal medicines and a leading European producer of cephalosporin-containing medicinal products. In 2006, it was acquired by the Aristo Pharma Group, subsequently serving as a specialized production site and contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO). As of June 2026, the company's production and laboratory facilities in Berlin are undergoing a major liquidation auction, signaling the cessation of its manufacturing operations.
