Company intelligence / Profile preview
t+ Clinical was a specialized subsidiary of t+ Medical, a healthcare technology company spun out from the University of Oxford's Institute of Biomedical Engineering in 2002. The company provided mobile phone-based electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePRO) and secure messaging solutions designed specifically for the clinical trial industry. Its platform, t+ mPRO, allowed patients to use their own mobile devices to record health data and communicate with clinical sites, which improved data accuracy and patient compliance in late-stage trials. The company's technology was clinically validated and used in large-scale telehealth projects, such as the UK Department of Health's Whole System Demonstrator program. In March 2010, its parent company, t+ Medical, was acquired by OBS Medical (Oxford BioSignals). Following the acquisition, t+ Clinical's mobile health solutions were integrated into OBS Medical's broader portfolio of patient monitoring and predictive analytics technologies.
