TMI Alzheimer's Centers, Inc. was a clinical research and diagnostic company specializing in the early detection and prevention of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. The company was founded and led by Dr. Turan M. Itil, a renowned neuropsychiatrist and expert in brain pharmacology and electroencephalography (EEG). TMI operated several centers in the New York area that employed quantitative EEG (qEEG) and computerized neuropsychological assessments to identify cognitive decline before the onset of severe symptoms. The company was publicly traded on the Pink Sheets under the ticker TMIA and collaborated closely with the New York Institute for Medical Research. Following the death of its founder in 2014, the company is no longer active.
