Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation

Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation was a Canadian healthcare fundraising foundation that supported research, education, and patient care at Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital within University Health Network in Toronto. It operated as a nonprofit hospital foundation rather than a drug-development biotech or pharmaceutical company. On April 1, 2021, Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation and Toronto Rehab Foundation amalgamated to form UHN Foundation, which now raises funds across a broader set of UHN institutions. As a result, the historical entity is no longer active as a standalone organization, though its mission continues through UHN Foundation.
